clean, comfortable, spacious room excellent breakfasts very helpful, friendly host
Overall: Holm View is odeally located, with spectacular views south to Skye and the mainland. Rooms were well-furnished, comfortable and spacious, and kept scrupulously clean in spite of redecoration going on elsewhere in the building. Breakfasts were first class and the host, Mr Martin, could not have been more friendly and helpful. Will certainly use again on our next visit to Lewis and would happily recommend to others. The twin room was very spacious and comfortable with a fab view over the bay

the accomodation was very stylish, up to date and very clean. The proprietor was exceptionally helpful and pleasant
Not dislike but it would have been better if it had been en suite though we did have sole use of a bathroom as the hotel wasnt fully booked

Brilliant - i cannot reccommend highly enough. Clean comfortable and friendly.
Overall: this was a really clean place, I would've liked en-suite, the bathroom was next door and spotless. Beakfast was a treat and the owner very welcoming. (99019092)

It was spacious and clean, with pleasant decor and equipped to a high standard. Views from the room were breath-taking and the location is quiet, as well as scenic.
Overall: Mr and Mrs martin were attentive and obliging hosts, without ever appearing other than relaxed and helpful - but without being, at any time, 'in your face'. As far as I was concerned, the website described the accommodation very well - it is certainly a real cut above the average and I would unhestitatingly recommend it to anyone, with the proviso that one really needs a vehicle in order to make the most of one's stay. 48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
